What makes reclaimed wood better

Reclaimed pinewood has some real advantages over freshly cut wood — for your home, your cat and the environment.

No new wood needed

By reusing existing timber, we reduce the demand for freshly cut wood. It's a small step — but one we want to take consciously.

More stable with age

Wood that has already dried and settled over decades barely warps anymore. Our elements are tested for loads up to 6 kg and checked for stability.

Every plank has its own grain and tone. That makes each element a little unique — and gives your wall a warm, natural look that's hard to replicate with new timber.

Safe for cats

All elements are carefully sanded and treated only with cat-safe products. No sharp edges, no harmful residues.
